The outdoor play area is a nice bonus for little kids, and the food is very good. I’d especially recommend the roasted pork belly. The staff were really friendly, and the rooms make smart use of the space: there’s no desk, but the bed is bigger than you usually get in a European hotel. It’s a great spot if you’re driving to Beekse Bergen or Efteling. In the morning, you can hear the local birds singing in the woods.

Our puppy loved the welcome gifts, and we really appreciated how they helped make our stay memorable. It’s a lovely place to spend a few nights, have a meal or two, or just stop in for a drink. We had a great time and would visit again if we’re in the area.

We’ve been to van Dijk twice for lunch after walking nearby, and the food was very good both times. The dining room had a nice, quiet feel, with people coming in with their dogs. Service was a little lacking on this visit, perhaps because it was the summer holidays and the usual staff seemed to be away. We were first given an outdated menu and couldn’t order from it. The updated one showed the salmon salad had been replaced by a vaguely named fish salad that cost 3 euros more. We only ate here, so I can’t comment on the hotel.

Only commenting on the restaurant. The food is fresh, tasty, simple and reasonably priced, and the waiters were nice. The glasses could have been cleaner... ❤️

We went for dinner and ate really well. The tasting platter for two was delicious, and we also tried the three-course menu and some à la carte dishes. Service was friendly and helpful, though with too few staff it took a while to order and get our food. Outside, you can eat among the trees under the lights, with a nice little playground for kids. Indoors it feels warm and cozy. It could also work for a nature-loving couple’s wedding or a small gathering. A nice restaurant for food and drinks, and I’d recommend it.
