The staff were super friendly, and the drinks were okay, but some choices were uncomfortable. My large Coke came with way too much ice, so it got watered down, and the massive mug was difficult to hold. There was no straw, so the ice hit my teeth with every sip, which wasn't pleasant. We'd planned to cross the road for pizza, but staff told us the kitchen was closed and they no longer serve there. They only have drinks on weekends; otherwise that side is closed. We went with a steak and chicken piri piri instead. I asked for my steak medium, but it came out almost well done. My boyfriend didn't have time to send it back, so he ate it, though I did tell the staff it wasn't good. It looked great and tasted fine, but it was far too tough and overcooked. The chicken piri piri was alright, though not the best I've had. The fries tasted dry, almost as if they'd been sitting for five minutes before serving, while the other sides were fine. We paid 61 euros for two mains and four drinks, which felt like a lot for what we got. Neither of us finished the meal. It's a shame the pizza side is no longer open, and they don't serve pancakes anymore either.

I can't recommend this pizzeria. Our Margheritas had no taste, with cheese that didn't seem like real cheese and no hint of oregano or anything else to add flavor. We couldn't find the pepper, so tried salt, but that didn't help much. The price was pretty steep too. I'd suggest visiting 't appeltje, 500 meters away.

The food was fresh and delicious, and we felt welcome as soon as we walked in. The pizza had a nicely crisp crust, and the pasta was full of flavor. Service was attentive and friendly. It was warm and cozy inside, with soft music in the background. We'd happily come back for the food and hospitality.

We had a great meal in this lovely place, with friendly service and cozy decor. There's a terrace outside where you can sit with a blanket even when it's cool, and inside there's a crackling fire playing on a big screen. The restrooms were clean and tidy, but a bit dull compared with the rest of the building. That's the only possible downside, though... 😅
