Hotel Saint Vincent

We chose the option to pay at the property with no prepayment required. The next day, they tried to charge the full room amount anyway. I messaged to ask why and got no reply, so I canceled the booking. If guests are expected to pay in advance, they shouldn’t offer a “pay at the property” option.

We liked our stay in room 2. It was spacious and clean, with good-quality sheets and blankets, a flat-screen TV, and a small refrigerator. There was no air conditioning, and it got extremely hot because only one small window opens. The bathroom was dated but clean. Parking could be tricky since it’s on the street among lots of parked cars, though we managed fine. There’s a Jumbo and an Action nearby, plus a few places to eat.

The hotel is quite old, but really nice, and the staff are very friendly. If you stay here, get a cup of coffee. There’ll be a nice message for you :)

The staff were nice, and the place was clean. Still, the high DIY-style repairs made me less keen to recommend it to anyone more demanding. Breakfast was super basic, and it felt expensive, probably because of the Russian idiotism that’s driving up heating and electricity costs. It suits people who just need a job-hotel-job-hotel stay. I’d probably choose it if I needed free parking and wanted to leave the car while traveling by bus. Otherwise, I’d stay in the centre for the same price and get a better breakfast. I’ve done that too.
