Grand Hotel Valies

The hotel is so beautiful, and I can highly recommend it. We stayed for one night, and the breakfast buffet was great. The outlet mall is a 10-minute walk away. Important parking detail: it’s on the same side of the hotel, about 100 meters along the main road. There’s a very small blue sign, so it isn’t easy to spot.

The hotel is nice, but I'm really disappointed that they threw away a package I’d left in the room. I lost my things and couldn’t get them back, even after two days. It was especially upsetting because the package was my birthday present. Very disappointing.

The hotel is new, clean, and within walking distance of several restaurants and the shopping outlets. The rooms have air conditioning, but paying guests can’t actually adjust it. You can change the thermostat, but the room temperature never changes, so enjoy a hot night’s sleep. The staff are helpful, though they don’t know much and often fall short of what you ask. The bartender can pour beer, but nothing else. Breakfast in the morning is quite good, though I never ate at the hotel restaurant. It's a nice place, but absolutely not a four-star establishment.

Breakfast had plenty of options and was good, but I didn't like having to collect everything myself. Nothing was set out on the table, not even napkins or dishes. It’s too much self-service, and the tables could be cleaned better. The hotel is central, with spacious, tidy rooms and nice decor. The curtains block out the light well, and noise isolation is pretty good. The shower is spacious too. Autopark is convenient and costs an extra 19 euros per night.
