Boutique Hotel Milano Rotterdam-Center

The room was comfortable and clean, and breakfast was really good, with lots of choices. The hotel is close to many places to visit. We only stayed one night, and the man at reception was very kind. Parking costs extra and is about a 10-minute walk away. They give you a garage key, which you return to reception after parking. Even after checkout, you can leave your car there and pay a low hourly rate.

We stayed for two nights from 09/22-09/24. The first day went smoothly, and the gentleman at the front desk was very nice. We’d paid for parking as advertised, but on the second night, after a long day out, we went to reception for the garage key and the woman working refused to give us the second set. She said it was her private key, even though we’d been told there were two. We waited nearly an hour. She said we could park somewhere else if we didn’t want to wait, and would rather refund us than give us the key. She also said the garage wasn’t hotel property, which makes no sense to me if Hotel Milano advertises and sells it. I wouldn’t recommend the hotel. The garage is a 10-minute walk away, and having to collect and return the key every time you use the car is really inconvenient.

We were in town for the Feyenoord v Villa match, and this was one of the best rooms we’ve had on our European trips. Breakfast was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Rotterdam central station is about a 10-minute walk away.

We had a good stay for one night. They were happy to keep our luggage at the hotel before check-in, and getting checked in was easy. The room was fantastic, with a bathtub, large windows, very good curtains, a well placed TV, and loads of space for clothes. A few things were broken, like the hinges and bathroom door lock, but they didn’t affect the quality of our stay.
