8/10
The rooms are comfortably furnished, with a luxurious feel, and the beds were comfortable. It's very close to Rotterdam Centraal, on a main road, so we felt fine walking back at night. The apartment is owned by a charming elderly Russian lady, who gave us very personal service. She was friendly and chatty, and even kept us company at breakfast, which I thought was sweet. She cooked breakfast to order, making two different kinds of eggs for my husband and me. We enjoyed our stay a lot, though anyone wanting to stay anonymous might prefer another hotel.

The rooms had lots of character, and the shared bathroom was surprisingly lovely. The host was nice. It is an unusual setup, in a block of flats, but a nice place.
