The owner was very helpful.

The apartment was small but okay, and it had the essentials. The outage last night left us cold with no heating, so we used an electric heater. The food in the fridge spoiled, there was no breakfast, and we couldn't make coffee. The route to the sleeping area was extremely slippery. The paving stones and terrace were wood, as were the stairs, and it felt dangerous. I'm certain we won't be coming back.

We really liked our stay. The place is just outside Den Bosch, but getting to the center is easy. P+R (Parking and Return) is probably the best deal at €4.80, including a free bus ride. There’s a well-equipped two-room apartment or a one-room studio, and now they also have a tiny house. The sewage treatment plant is about 300 meters away, but don't worry, we didn't notice or smell it. We'll be back!

The setting is quiet and secluded, with a private terrace in the countryside, so the nights are restful and aperitifs are relaxing. You can also walk around from here, and the city and shops are less than a 10-minute drive away. It's good value for money. The apartments are new and very well equipped, especially for a family. The owners provide a high chair, travel cot, and bottle warmer. The bedding is typical Dutch comfort, simply perfect and relatively clean. In general, the place is adequate, though it does seem a little neglected. We had to vacuum often, especially the carpets, which could be an issue with a baby crawling around. I'd give it three stars because we're used to the generally impeccable cleanliness in the Netherlands, and only found some of that here.
