Appartement Sint Jan

!!! WARNING !!! I booked the apartment online and received an email confirmation, but had to cancel a week before the trip. I cancelled on time. Since then, the host hasn't contacted me and has ignored my emails. I still haven't got my money back. This feels like fraud.

A really nice apartment.

The owner hasn't responded to any of the issues I've raised. The apartment itself has a lot of problems: the bathroom is very dated, with mold on the ceiling and a broken, loose toilet seat that leaves dirty brown marks around the hinges. The toilet also keeps running after use. Water drips constantly from the pipes at the kitchen heater, and you can hear it throughout the place. The kitchen's electric blind is broken, so sunlight pours in onto the dining table, which is really annoying. One window is missing a roller blind, and the one that's there looks ready to fall off. The air conditioning is dirty, the floor is very old, and the dining chairs have collapsed so badly that you slide back against the hard wooden rail. The coffee machine also keeps running until the cup overflows. The fire extinguishers on both floors are over 15 years old and haven't been inspected. Since this is a top floor reached by two very steep staircases, having no certified extinguishers in case of fire is a serious concern. I'm writing now because the owner gave me no response. The rent is high for a place with this many shortcomings, and there's been absolutely no feedback from the owner.

Right in the center of 's-Hertogenbosch, but still peaceful, this spacious studio made a great base. It has its own bathroom and kitchen, plus air conditioning 😅. We stayed while working with our food truck during the Boulevard festival. The owner was really friendly too. Thanks for another lovely visit, see you next year! 🙏🏾
