The location is good, but the room was just okay. I stayed one night for a concert, and the elevator was broken. We were several floors up, but there was no discount and nobody even offered to help with our bags. Breakfast was disappointing, the food smelled strange, and there wasn't much choice of milk or other food. For the price, I expected better service.

The hotel was clean and nice, but our room felt a bit lackluster. It's about a 25-minute walk from the center of Tilburg. The three main problems for me were the unreliable, very slow WiFi; dinner service; and how guests are treated in the common areas. Dinner is à la carte, but our starters took around 15 minutes and the main course took 50. The lobby where we ate was freezing, so the meal was a really bad experience. On my third morning I only wanted a cup of instant noodles for breakfast. Since I hadn't paid for breakfast, they said I couldn't eat it in the dining area or the shared lobby, and had to go to my room. They do sell noodles from a vending machine, but mine wasn't the same lousy brand they had. So, stay away from the restaurant. The breakfast they serve isn't worth 18 Euros or whatever it costs when you're reading this.

My wife and I stayed here during Draaimolen Festival last Summer 2024, and the experience left us uneasy. From the start, the place felt unwelcoming. The decor looked drab and dated, and the staff's attitude came across as judgmental, as if they were merely putting up with festival guests. On our last night, we saw a disturbing altercation between staff and a potential guest who seemed confused and upset at the front desk. The staff member responded harshly instead of calming things down, and it escalated quickly. When the guest left the lobby, two men, one of them the same staff member, followed him outside and got into what looked like a violent confrontation. We were extremely shaken by what we saw. We felt unsafe enough to pack up and check out before our planned departure. The police arrived shortly afterward, but the whole episode ruined our stay and left us with lasting concerns about safety and professionalism at the hotel. Based on our experience, I can't recommend staying here. Be aware of the atmosphere and how staff interactions may be handled.
