It's an easy place to reach by car, though parking on the street is expensive. There's a garage about a 10 minute walk away. The Badhuis has a very good French cuisine restaurant and a few rooms upstairs, all accessed with a digital key that worked fine. My room was cozy and beautiful, had everything I needed, and was quiet at night. Utrecht's center is about a 20 minute walk.

The rooms were cozy and comfortable, very clean, and had an amazing bathroom with a sunroof. The bar restaurant on the ground level is worth a visit. It's close to the city center but far enough away to relax and enjoy some peace. The only downside was the sound isolation between rooms, maybe because of other guests.

There was no reception to turn to when the restaurant staff downstairs held a private little party at 4:30 am and played music so loudly that none of us could sleep, even with earplugs. I had to go downstairs in my pajamas and ask them to turn it down. For a 140€ room, I expected better. It was also unfortunate that we couldn't store luggage, and the bathroom mirrors were oddly dark, so you couldn't really see. On the plus side, the lounge had female products as well as tea and coffee.

I slept really well in the comfortable bed. The hotel is lovely, close to the city center, and getting in through the front door and room door with their systems was very convenient. The decor is modern and really nice.

There are good food spots and an albert heijn nearby, and it's a 20 minute walk to the city center. Free coffee in the morning to get your brain going. Nice hotel!
