Bastion Hotel Utrecht

I didn't end up staying at the hotel because of its walk in policy, but the night shift employee Achraf went out of his way to help me find somewhere else to stay. With his help, I eventually found a place. Thank you so much, Achraf, for being so proactive!

I had a terrible experience here. My room was never cleaned or serviced during my stay, not even once, and the staff ignored guests and didn't answer when I asked for help. The lack of cleanliness had me scratching my legs, which made me uncomfortable and worried about hygiene. I felt unsafe and had to leave before my booking was over. Dirty rooms, poor service, and staff who don't seem to care. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

The front desk staff were polite and helpful, and I appreciated that. Still, the stay was disappointing and fell short of what I expect from Bastion Hotels. I've stayed at other Bastion locations, and this one wasn't worth it. I booked a double king bed room but was given two single beds instead. Breakfast was meant to run until 10:30, but when I came down at 9:30 most of the food was gone. There was no breakfast staff to ask, and reception said they couldn't provide anything more.

I've been staying at this hotel for two months now and am satisfied with the experience. The staff are polite, and Gerlon is doing a great job. ✌️
