Campanile Hotel And Restaurant Venlo

A safe place with a good breakfast, and the staff are willing to help however they can. It has more of a motel feel and isn't a five-star hotel, but it works well for a night's sleep.

The room was so noisy and smelled so strongly of cigarettes that it was the worst night I've ever had. I paid 80 EUR for it. There's a connecting door between rooms, so we heard everything from the neighbor, breathing, using the toilet, and coughing every five seconds. We even wondered if he might be dying. We couldn't sleep at all. The room also looked VERY tired and outdated. At least the hotel was clean overall, close to the motorway, check-in was fairly easy, and the staff were kind.

For a one-night stop the small room was clean and had tea and coffee making facilities. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and there was plenty of parking. It's not far from the motorway, and there's a pleasant little garden with seating where you can have a beer and food. Breakfast had a good range of choices. It was a good stay, though I'm not sure it was worth more than €100 for one night.

For the rate, this modest motel was terrific. The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was decent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I also appreciated being able to arrive late. I really can't fault what was offered for the price.
