B&B Huis der Boede

We’ve already stayed twice and will be back. The owners are lovely to talk with about the day ahead, and they offer recommendations. There are quaint towns, nice beaches, old windmills, and other things to do a short drive away. Mornings here are something else. The hosts bring coffee just how you like it, and breakfast is homemade, with an amuse and fresh local bread, eggs, and cheese. It felt worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant. You can relax in the sun by the big windows overlooking greenery, surrounded by paintings and classical music. The high-ceilinged room has beautiful large windows, with a grassy field outside where rabbits and deer run around at sunrise. There’s also a huge, royal-style bathtub. If there’s a heaven on Earth, this is it.

The owners are very friendly and service-oriented, and the B&B is well placed near the beach, Middelburg, and cosy villages. The room was comfortable and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities we needed. Breakfast was homemade, delicious, plentiful, and made with local ingredients. What a lovely place to stay. We’ll definitely come back and recommend it to everyone.

We were walking with a friend and accidentally wandered onto the property. The owner politely pointed out that there was a sign at the entrance. We explained that we couldn’t read it because we’re Ukrainians, and he understood. He even gave us a little tour. Such a kind owner and beautiful place. If I need to stay nearby sometime, I’ll definitely choose this hotel.

The owners are lovely, and the beds are very comfortable. It’s so peaceful and welcoming here. The place is a real palace, with amazing views in every direction. Hopefully we can come back soon!
