I booked rooms in May for a November stay at a very reasonable price. When I arrived, the manager wanted 60% more, saying that was what the room was worth. I'd tried contacting the hotel several times beforehand by email and phone, but nobody replied. I then found out my original booking had been given to someone else and I had to stay in a tiny shoe box room. I'm absolutely disgusted and will never stay here again.

The grounds were nice, there was plenty of parking, and the food in the bar was good. The room was clean and spacious, but very basic, with no tea or coffee making facilities or hairdryer. The double bed was two singles pushed together.

The room was a good size, and breakfast was good. It was a good price for the Netherlands, but very basic, with no kettle in the room and lots of dead bugs squashed on the walls.

We like trying something new, and this was a good choice. The area is exceptional, with great walking routes through nature, and the staff were very friendly and flexible. We'd definitely recommend it!
