The price felt far too high for a run-down place with such an unfriendly host. It's difficult to get to by public transport, and we weren't even allowed to park in front of the house. Inside, it was dirty and old: the bunk bed squeaked whenever we moved, and the sheets and towels were worn and pilled. The website says guests can use the kitchen, but when we arrived the owner said we couldn't unless we had booked breakfast. The hosts were extremely unfriendly and, in our experience, dishonest.

We knew the location before booking. It's handy if you have a car; without one, most places mean a good walk, though there are public transport options. The room was lovely, with a balcony, fridge and provisions for hot drinks. It was spotless, and the large bed was really comfortable. The hosts were fabulous, and we'd happily stay again.

A quiet neighborhood, with shops and bike trails conveniently close by. We had a brilliant stay in Zoetermeer and would come back. I'd recommend the place to anyone.

The kids loved the chickens in the side garden and cuddling the dogs and cats. There was also a beautiful park nearby with a huge playground for the morning. It was very clean and felt safe, and the children kept themselves busy, so we parents could enjoy a break from routine. With my lively kids, exploring "back to future" at the Gaming museum and the warm, family feel from our excellent host at De Koepeltjes made a great combination.

The location worked really well, near the center but on a quiet street, and I felt at home during our stay. Our room was spacious and stylish, with a big comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. Everything was spotless and seemed carefully looked after. Breakfast had a wide selection of hot and cold dishes, and the fresh rolls were delicious. The staff were so friendly and shared useful tips for local excursions. The lobby felt calm and luxurious, and was a nice place to sit. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort and quality.
