Really nice, quiet place, with good service and good food in generous portions.

They charged me the full amount even though I cancelled a week ahead. Our Dutch distributor had changed my customer visit schedule, sending me to clients on the other side of the country instead of Zoetermeer. The hotel's explanation was that they were full and had to turn people away. That sounds like an excuse to keep my money. If they really had been full, they could easily have found someone else during those five days. I've had much better customer service, and wouldn't recommend booking this hotel in advance.

Christmas evening was a letdown. There was no atmosphere where we ate, though maybe the other room felt different. The menu was odd for Christmas, stoof peeren with fish!? We finished our coffee a long time before the liqueurs arrived. I won't do this again.

The staff were really friendly, but dinner was average, and the dining room was almost empty. For what they serve, the prices are too high.

It looks a little dated at first, but the staff are very friendly, the food is reasonably good, and there's a nice garden.
