There's a large room here with a small kitchen that's fully furnished. The owner is really nice and always glad to help. A great base for visiting Alta.

It seems like a very nice place to stay in Alta, but I haven't been able to reach the owner. Phone is the only contact option since they don't have email. I called ten times and the line was busy every time. I also texted asking for a call back and never heard from them. I hope we can get in touch, and I'll remove this review if the owner does contact me.

They don't answer the phone for weeks, and when you show up, there's nobody there. I can't tell how their service is meant to work, or whether it works at all.

The rooms are a little dated, but comfortable and come with a kitchenette. The property itself is pleasant and comfortable too. We stayed at this guesthouse in August. They don't take credit cards, as stated. It's beside a busy road, though the windows block a reasonable amount of sound.

A company has bought it and has an agreement with Alta kommune. When I called, I was told they only provide accommodation for people in need, not tourists.
