Fosen Fjordhotel

The storm and rain kept me from exploring the area, but the hotel bar was a cozy spot to settle in, with candles lit and the weather outside. The rooms were comfortable, and the hotel’s location is beautiful. I came for one night on my bike tour after bad weather and a flat tire. The reception staff were so kind and helpful, especially the young man and the blonde lady. I’m glad I ended up here and would happily return.

After dinner, being able to go for a walk right away was lovely. We were a group of 20, and found the restaurant’s design cozy and relaxing. We also really enjoyed the food and service, and the staff clearly knew their work and were professional. Thanks for such a great experience!

I spent three months at the hotel while working on wind farms and was treated very well the whole time. The staff were extremely polite and helpful, the accommodation was very comfortable, and the food was excellent. I hope I get to come back. I’d recommend the hotel without hesitation.

We regretted not having more time here. The next day, we had the local mussels and they were amazing. Our late arrival was after the kitchen had closed, but the bartender checked with the chef, who was about to leave, to see if she could prepare something. She came out with a few options, and we chose the steak sandwich. It was the best sandwich I’ve ever tasted. The cheesecake and chocolate cake were amazing too. This was the best experience of our trip along the Norwegian coast. The food, service, and accommodation were excellent, far better than you’d expect in such a remote part of Norway.
