The fireplace in the hall makes things feel super cozy. The hotel also has a sauna, which was good, though I wish it were in a more private spot away from the gym. Our room was really warm, and we never felt cold during winter nights. Breakfast was hearty and made with high-quality ingredients; dinner was good quality too. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate were available all day. It’s a good location and easy to reach by tram, with a 40-minute journey from the airport by public transport.

For our first trip to Oslo, we stayed two nights in a twin room, and the central location made it easy to come and go while exploring different parts of the city. The building is beautiful and made us feel at ease, and the included food made it really good value. We had two excellent breakfasts and dinners, plus one lovely fikka. The smoked salmon and scrambled eggs at breakfast were out of this world, and my partner especially liked the mini croissants. The beds were extremely comfortable, and so were the shower and the rest of the bedroom and bathroom facilities. Even with the cold outside, the room held its heat well. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Oslo.

I spent a week here while visiting friends in Oslo. My room was comfortable and I slept well, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I’ve had, and dinner was excellent too, with plenty of healthy choices at both meals. The coffee machine stayed available even after fikka, which was great for me.

The staff are nice, and the location is good. But for $200 a night, you can find much better value in Oslo. The food was mediocre. Our room was cold and took a while to warm up, and the shower also needed time to get warm. There were no slippers, toothbrushes, or toothpaste in the room.
