I couldn’t stay and had to book somewhere else. The room I paid £118 for smelled bad, was uncomfortable, and looked nothing like the website photos. There was no receptionist or lobby staff to help, and the shared areas were very dirty. The room itself was in poor condition too, and there were many homeless people around the hotel. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The location made it easy to get into the city, and the station was nearby. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Our small apartment had what we needed, with a well-equipped enough kitchen, though the bathroom was on the small side but manageable. The view was okay and it wasn’t noisy, so I assume the insulation is good. The beds were small, and cleaning could’ve been better since we found stains and other marks in the room.

The front desk is only staffed for a few hours each day, and security felt nonexistent. We had to clean our own room and take out our own rubbish, then saw rats around the bins. The place felt like a detention center in a rough part of town. Middle Eastern men were shouting outside in the middle of the night, and the view wasn’t desirable. If you’re a woman, older, or a group of women, I’d stay away. Spend a bit more somewhere else.

This feels like a swindle. You pay for a room, but can’t check in early, and if something isn’t as expected, they don’t help. I’ve never booked a hotel and then found out it wasn’t drop-in, so you just have to wait. When I called to cancel, they wouldn’t let me. There’s no Norwegian customer service. The worst hotel in Norway.
