Friendly staff and a good breakfast bar. Just be aware that a room facing the main street may be a little noisy.

The young women at reception were super friendly and service minded when I checked in and out. The hotel has a gym, and the terrace was pleasant, though it needs tidying up and a bit more atmosphere. Rooms are spacious for the price and well maintained, but the walls are thin, so you have to keep quiet at night. When I asked a young man at reception if that was the bar, he had negative energy and wasn't approachable. I ended up deciding against having a drink, even though everything else nearby was closed at 21:00 on a Monday. Breakfast had enough variety to feel worth what you pay, and it was kept up well. There wasn't a cheerful “good morning” when I arrived, but if you prefer not to talk to anyone after waking up, this is the perfect place. I'll return and enjoy Scandic, with limitations, but it's good value for the price.

It's not a bad place, though others are better. It's not too far from the city center, but other hotels are closer. The room was quite spacious, but the bed was very uncomfortable. Service was kind and helpful, and since our room was ready early, we could check in ahead of the usual time. We had to leave early for our flight, so we didn't get to try the food. They gave us two grocery bags so we could make our own sandwiches, but we couldn't eat them at the airport, so we had to put them in our luggage and eat them at home.

We had a wonderful six-night stay, with impeccable service and a perfect location. The hotel is in the sunniest part of the city, with a mall, bars and cafes across the street and a bus stop less than a minute away. Reception, the waitresses Tina and Milene, and the housekeeping team, Ellen & team, were prompt and happy to help with our requests. They really made it feel like a home away from home. There isn't an in-house dinner restaurant, but there are plenty of places to eat across the street. The gym is also across the street, and the hotel can provide an access card. This was the best experience we've had at the many Scandic Hotels we've stayed in so far. We'll definitely book here again.
