The rooms feel cosy and charming in a way that suits the setting, even if they aren't modern. We also loved the food, especially the eis cider, and came back for a delicious breakfast on our way down from Kaldavasshytta on our third day nearby. We'd stopped for one night before our winter tour to Grindaflethytta. Fara was welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful, and drew us a GPS track for a much better route to the hut. He also talked through options for the following day. When he noticed our dog limping, he kindly offered to look after him while we went up. Moby had a nice rest and was very happy when we picked him up as we passed through the next day. They were happy to accommodate us again for breakfast. A wonderful, welcoming place, and dog friendly too. Couldn't recommend it more.
