The food was very nice, but the service felt unfriendly, and the walls were so thin that the sound carried badly. We were charged an extra 100 NOK per person for sheets, and that hadn't been clearly communicated when booking. Edit: please show me where this information was on your website. Booking.com tucked it under amenities as “towel and linen (with surcharge),” rather than clearly stating it in the description. Otherwise, we would have brought our own.

The restaurant was cozy and the staff were lovely, but dinner with my family wasn't a great experience. We waited over an hour for the food. Having a few beers made the wait seem okay at first, but by the time it arrived we were starving. The portions, including the bacalao and chicken listed as meat of the day, felt more like starters at other restaurants, and we were disappointed by their size. I'm vegetarian, and there were no vegetarian dishes on the menu. The only option they could offer was steamed vegetables and potato. We told them we were unhappy about the wait and portion sizes, so they offered free desserts. By then, we just wanted to go home and politely declined.

The place is beautiful, though it's a little way from town and the bus service is limited. I stopped by for coffee and ended up enjoying the old harbor from the lobby, with its lovely paintings. The staff were helpful and spoke English. It's on the pricey side because of the location, and they also have accommodation.

The area looks nice, and the customer service was excellent. The restaurant was cozy and the food tasted good, but portions were tiny for the price, about 35€ for a little fish and 1.5 boiled potatoes, nowhere near enough for one person. As a hostel, the stay itself was pretty average. It felt expensive given the small room, shared kitchenette, and faulty shower plumbing.
