The pitch was wet and boggy in spots, so tent campers should be ready for that. Still, the owner showed us to our site, the reception staff were lovely, and the restrooms were exceptional. They also understood that cycle tourists like us might arrive eventually. Would I come back? Yes.

The heated bathroom floors and really good showers made our August bike trip stay a happy one. The tent ground was a little boggy, though.

There are lots of hiking trails nearby, and the facilities were good. We stayed one night in a tent, which was about right.

We ended up in an apartment because the cabin we wanted wasn't available, and it turned out great: clean, neat, and a good size. Since it was Tuesday, the rate was really, really good. It was the best night of our whole Norway trip. KIWI supermarket is right across the road, and the Wi-Fi was always available.

We paid relatively little, especially by Norway standards, and there was a handy little kitchen plus a very clean toilet and bathroom area. The tent spots, though, weren't very good, and you only get a partial mountain view. The place felt oddly empty when we arrived, almost like a caravan graveyard. It's a huge site, mostly taken up by cabins and caravans.
