The apartment's a convenient base for town and sightseeing beyond Trolltunga, including Låtefossen and Buarbreen in Odda. Hardanger bridge and Utne, on the other side, are about an hour's drive away, with fantastic scenery. The living room has the great view shown in the pictures. It was fresh and nice inside, with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. The bathroom also had a washing machine and soap, which I appreciated. There are free parking spaces right in front or nearby. Although it's right by the road as pictured, it was peaceful, without much traffic noise. Check-in was simple and effective, especially if you arrive late. In short, it gives what it sells.

The landlord was completely unreasonable, and I can't recommend the apartment. We're not fussy, but we draw the line at a bathroom ceiling covered in mold. The couch looked like it had been dragged behind a car, and the kitchen and floor were filthy. Anything but clean.

A comfortable bed and fully equipped kitchen made the apartment handy for independent stays, and the bathroom has a washing machine. Parking in front of the building is included in the price, which is affordable. A very good base for trips to Trolltunga and beyond. I recommend it.

The place was clean, we felt comfortable, and self-check-in worked perfectly. We knew it was on the main road, so we accepted the noise that comes with that. The kitchen, though, was very sparsely equipped. We missed at least scissors, a sieve and a few cereal bowls. Some lighting from a floor lamp or bedside lamp would've been nice too. Otherwise, the accommodation itself was really great.
