This isn't a hotel, it's a self-service apartment with several rules and instructions to follow. If you want full service, it may not be the right choice. But if you're looking for a Scandinavian experience, I'd recommend it. I came to holiday in Tromso after getting exhausted from work, and the place gave me good memories. The view of the town from the windows was nice, and the location was good. Even over Easter, room service responded very quickly in the chat.

We visited in fall 2025 and had a pleasant stay overall. The apartment was very clean, tidy and nicely decorated, with a view of the Tromso harbor. There was one problem at check-in: the electronic lock had a low battery and wouldn't work. It was 9 PM, and we couldn't reach any staff by any means. We got it sorted out through Booking.com. If we'd booked directly, we might have ended up spending the night outside.

It's in a very convenient spot, close to the main attractions, activity pickup points, coffee shops and a supermarket a few minutes away. The apartment was comfortable, clean, nicely decorated and well stocked. Having a paid Laundry Room was useful too. I'd definitely recommend it and stay here again.

The location worked well for us, with the shopping area an easy walk away, and the staff were helpful. The room card machine also made getting into the room straightforward. But the rooms felt more like hostel rooms sold at hotel rates. Ours faced inward, had no view, and the window couldn't be opened, which made it feel stuffy. Make sure you have a local number or a plan that lets you make local calls, since everything is handled by phone. We paid quite a lot, maybe because of the season, and didn't think it was worth the cost. I'd try somewhere else next time.
