Lydersen Rorbuer

The walls are so thin you can hear other guests breathing, and the place was dirty on top of that. It felt like a barn, and I had to clean my own room, which wasn’t mentioned online. I also never saw any check for my housekeeping services. They don’t answer the phone. When I asked why, the clerk said she didn’t have it. She was no help when I asked where the jacuzzi was either, just said “up the road.” I asked why she hadn’t replied to my Booking messages and got a wave of the hand and “oh they must have gone…” Maybe those messages were with the phone. The other guests must not have cleaned well enough, what a shocker. A genuinely terrible experience at this supposed 1 star “Rorbuer.” Stay away. The clerk should go down the road, maybe she’ll find the jacuzzi and the phone.

The fjord views are beautiful, and everything had a relaxed, homely feel. We had a great time at Lydersen, especially thanks to the staff, who were so welcoming and kind and put real effort into helping us. The manager even went out of their way to arrange the jacuzzi for us, which we really appreciated. Would definitely recommend. ☺️

A lovely place to stop and recharge while crossing Lofoten on a long trek. The rooms and facilities were clean, and check-in was easy. I’d recommend it.

After a few days of hiking, we came here and could finally get a proper shower and dry our clothes. The stay was warm and comfortable, and the woman working at the hostel was very friendly and helped us with everything. We had an amazing time here in February. Thank you!
