The free breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner are the hotel's biggest plus. It's an older historic place right on the waterfront, though the amenities are basic and the rooms badly need AC or ceiling fans. Laundry costs a flat fee, but whites all go in with the other clothes, so mine came out discolored instead of bleached. With waterfront rooms, it can get very loud late into the night when people drink on the patio with the windows open. Most of the guests we saw were retired or close to it, so it probably isn't the best fit for families with lots of kids.

The food feels very basic, both the hot options and the cold buffet, with mostly packaged items and instant soups. Seasoning seems to stop at salt and pepper, and I didn't get the sense there was seasonal cooking or a professional chef. The central location is handy, but weekend nights can be awful, with drunk locals shouting in the streets until morning.

It's in a handy spot for most of the places you'd want to see. The room was clean, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast, afternoon tea and coffee with snacks, and dinner are all included for free, which made for a very pleasant stay.

I was here for 8 nights for work. The room was basic, but had what I needed to sleep well. Breakfast was really good, the food was good too, and as a Swede I loved the Fika. The croissant, though, was a miss. Kaffe was free. The gym was fine, but could use more weights and a new tire on the bikes. The Fauna was nice after work, just be aware there are old naked men around. I barely spoke with the staff, but one of them filled up my Kaffe cup, so 10/10 for that! If you want your room cleaned, tell them in the lobby in the morning.
