We were travelling around Norway with a van that kept giving us trouble, and the staff here really came through. They even bought a new jump start box in town and let us have one of their cabins at short notice. They went out of their way to help whenever something went wrong. It was a stressful time, and we’re so grateful for how kind and accommodating they were. I don’t know what we’d have done without them. Thank you! 😊

I wasn’t expecting much from a “hostel,” but I was pleasantly surprised. My double room was in a separate house with a bathroom, terrace, living room and kitchen. It was all clean and comfortable, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast had everything I needed. I really enjoyed staying here and will definitely come back.

There’s plenty of room in the holiday apartment by reception, though it isn’t especially fancy. The staff were helpful. The creaky doors and floors got a bit annoying, although some people might find them charming. Bring your own towels and linens, or rent them at reception for a fee. Having your own transport is best.

Our two-person cottage was spotless, with its own bathroom and a deck that gets the sun. It was tidy and well equipped too. I’d definitely recommend staying here in Geilo.
