We’re already looking forward to going back to Hedmarktoppen. The views over Mjøsa and Hamar are lovely, and the roomy, well-arranged campsites make it easy to relax. There’s plenty for both kids and adults to do, whether you want a quiet break in the scenery or a more active holiday. The facilities are very well kept, and the staff are warm, helpful, and always greet you with a smile. We had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend it.

The setting is peaceful, with hiking nearby and the city center only a short distance away. There’s a bus stop right beside the site, or you can drive in a few minutes. We had lots of room for our tent, and the place was clean and tidy, with a lovely view across Lake Mjøsa. The service facilities felt a little limited during our visit: the closest shower had no hot water, so we used one farther away, and there was no kitchen access. It was handy to have electric car chargers on site, though they were slow, so we could leave the car fully charged by morning.
