Haraldshaugen Camping AS

The receptionist was friendly and welcoming, and suggested where to park since it was quite windy the night we stayed. It was a little expensive, though showers were included. The toilets and showers were extremely clean, with staff cleaning them often.

We loved this campsite and would definitely stay again. Check-in was easy, and the team was very accommodating. There's a small clean laundry room and a little kitchen. At the far end, a cute glass shelter has two tables where you can sit and look out at the ocean and sheep. There's also a big shared room for meals, games, or meeting other friendly campers.

The campsite is very clean and has excellent facilities. Adrian at reception was especially friendly and helpful. You can walk into Haugusund Town Centre in about 30 minutes, and it's a must-see. Norway's National Monument is beside the site, and a good, safe path along the coast leads to The Rising Tide Sculptures.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the sanitary facilities were the cleanest we've come across so far. The pitches nearest the coast have a stunning view. There's a supermarket very close by, and the city center is within walking distance. Nature all around makes for nice walks and hikes. We'd certainly stay here again if we're in the area.
