We had a spacious room and bathroom, and the hospitality was heart-warming. FV861 was closed at 8am because of an avalanche, leaving us stuck in Henningsvær with a 18:15 flight from Svolvaer airport. Our host kept everyone informed and tried to find another solution. Luckily the road opened again at 16:30, and we just made the flight. It was a very tight call. Thanks again.

The breakfast was varied and didn’t have the usual cheap fillers, like tiny par-baked pastries. I really enjoyed it. Staff were awesome, the rooms cozy, and the location was perfect for a stay in this little fishing town. I’d easily recommend the place to anyone.

We were lucky enough to watch the aurora from the balcony at the end of the hotel hallway. The hotel was lovely, clean, and cozy, with a standard breakfast. Parking is available behind the building.

The management and front desk staff were flexible, helpful, and welcoming, and made our stay much more enjoyable and less stressful. They even let us use their washing machine, and there was a delicious free cookie at check-in. The place felt like a home away from home. We stayed for two nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The Junior Suite was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the free breakfast was standard but delicious. Great stay for the value, and I’d definitely return to Henningsvær.

We really enjoyed the stay and would definitely come back. The breakfast was excellent, with lots of choices, and the hotel is right in the heart of the city, within walking distance of all the main tourist attractions.
