Breakfast was just perfect, and the restaurant food was very good, though fairly standard. I would have liked to try more fish dishes. The staff were kind and helpful. The hotel is well located in Hoyanger, a good starting point for hikes and for visiting the factory next door.

I visited in mid April for a work trip and had a single room, a decent size for one person. It was clean, with the option to make tea and coffee, which I always appreciate. My room had a lovely view down to the river and its own balcony. The staff were helpful, upbeat, and service minded. The breakfast area was tidy and clean, with a decent selection. A cosy little hotel in Høyanger.

The nearby grocery store was the best part of the experience, and it was really nice. The hotel was so disappointing. Nobody helped with our luggage, and the receptionist seemed inexperienced. The so-called breakfast bar was shameful. We got out of there as quickly as we could. Spare yourself the disappointment.

The rooms were nice and clean, and the staff were very friendly. It's beautifully located near the centre. Some parts of the hotel are new and renovated, while others have an 80s look, but I found that charming.

After we asked whether the kitchen was open on Saturday evening, the reception was really unwelcoming. The next day, the hotel told the newspaper that refugees had come there hungry and begging for food. That was very rude to say, regardless of nationality :(
