The owners were lovely and helpful. They even extended my stay on short notice and shared good tips for things to do. I’d happily stay here again. My single room suited me as a solo traveler, though I’m not sure whether they have double rooms. It’s a simple, no-frills hostel, but warm and comfortable, with a kitchen upstairs and spacious bathrooms. Getting in was easy once I knew the rear door uses a code sent by email shortly before arrival, so check your inbox beforehand. The location in central Leknes is convenient.

Really, this place is just perfect. It feels warm and elegant, and everything was clean. The kitchen and dining area are large, and the bathroom is spacious with a steady, strong shower.

The entrance took me a moment to spot. As you walk around the building, look for the gray bench shown in picture 1, and you should find the door. Inside, everything was neat and clean. The kitchen and dining space had pretty much all I needed to make food, with a comfortable spot to eat. My bedside lamp had an issue, but the owner came over quickly to fix it as soon as he heard, even though it was 9PM. That was impressively fast service.

The rooms are clean and cozy, and I felt really comfortable here. The kitchen has everything you could need. Free parking and laundry were a huge bonus too. Super little place, I’ll definitely come back.

We visited in May 2024, in the off-season, so there were hardly any other guests. It was quiet and clean, with a shared kitchen where people could eat together. I especially liked the modern bathrooms, and guests could use the washer and dryer. The bus stop is just 1-2 minutes away, and the nearest grocery shop is a minute away. Nothing to complain about.
