Lofothytter

We were so glad we booked this cabin for four nights. It’s cozy and private, close to the water, with two bedrooms with queen beds and another bedroom with a single bed. We’ll definitely book with Trod again.

A sunrise from right beside the water is hard to forget. The cabins are modern, clean, and well equipped, with good Wi-Fi. Lofothytter is centrally located on Lofoten, near Leknes and the beautiful beaches Haukland, Vik and Uttakleiv. It’s also a great place to try to catch the northern lights. The owner was kind, shared lots of local recommendations, and kindly arranged a baby chair for us. I can highly recommend the cabin.

Lovely cozy houses for a holiday, with everything we needed, including full kitchen equipment, a dishwasher, and a coffee maker. There’s also a washing machine in the bathroom and a fireplace on the terrace. The sea view was great, and we even saw dolphins playing 🐬.

We’ve rented the cabins at Lofothytter twice, the first time to celebrate New Year in 2020. They’re peaceful and quiet, a nice escape from everyday hustle and bustle. The setting is beautiful, near the beach, with great hiking, beaches and mountains nearby, and Leknes center a short distance away. A perfect base for exploring Lofoten and the surrounding sights. The cabins are beautiful and modern, with all the equipment needed for a short or longer stay. The mattresses in both bedrooms were especially comfortable. There’s free Wi-Fi and TV, plus free parking by each cabin. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the hosts gave us a warm welcome.
