We were on our way home after a holiday in the north and stayed one night. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, and it's pet friendly ♡. This is a cozy old boutique hotel that's been refurbished and has just a handful of rooms. We booked the room called "suiten" and loved it. Breakfast was lovely, with table service and homemade food.

There are hiking trails starting right at the hotel, and the host shared useful tips for our travels around Norway. Talking with someone who knew so much about the place was a real bonus. Staying here also felt like stepping back to the early 20th century, while still having modern conveniences, so it was worth it for the history alone.

The owners were so welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast was brilliant, with home-baked bread, French press coffee, and plenty more. The rooms and the hotel were clean and cozy, and all of us slept really well in the historic house. We had a fantastic visit. This beats any modern hotel, and we really recommend it.

We arrived to a warm, informative welcome, and in the morning there was a lovely traditional Norwegian breakfast with homemade bread and rolls. It felt like a bit of heaven on my plate! The thoughtful interior keeps the Nordic history alive, and the peaceful setting with a mountain panorama made for a restful sleep in cozy beds. Anyone expecting to miss modern comforts would be mistaken. If you want to experience that historic, cozy atmosphere, this is the place for you. We'll definitely return!

The hosts were calm, friendly, and service-minded, and served us a perfect breakfast. We slept very well in the old beds, which have new mattresses. This is a magnificent family-run hotel with four bedrooms, restored to its pre-WW2 look and furnishings while keeping modern facilities. There's no wifi, but 4G coverage is available. The floorboards creaked and squeaked, as you'd expect in an old house, but we found that part of its charm. I'd love to return and stay longer.
