It was nice having so much room and a quiet atmosphere with our three kids. We didn’t have to worry about them making noise or bothering anyone. We stopped for dinner after visiting dyreparken Kristiansand. The food was fine, came quickly, and was reasonably priced. I particularly liked the soup and salad buffet for 199 NOK. The kids’ chicken nuggets and fries were about 100 NOK.

I’m working in Lillesand and staying at Vertikalen. Great room, and the people working here are nice. Good food too. Highly recommended!

The place was neat, clean, and pretty, and the people working there smiled and gave us exceptionally good service. I only tried the restaurant food, and wow, that sauce was fantastic. The portion wasn’t too big either. I wonder if this might become my new favorite place to stop for a bite 🤟💪🏽

Breakfast and dinner were both 10 out of 10, and the rooms were just right, with cleanliness second to none. The manager was exceptional and extremely service minded. This fantastic hotel met all our needs. It’s become our new favourite in Southern Norway, and I’d definitely recommend Vertikalen Hotel to everyone.
