The hosts clearly put care into even the smallest details to make guests comfortable, and the hospitality was great. This is one of the most beautiful huts I've stayed in, really cosy and nicely designed.

The atmosphere was fire, the food was awesome, and the rooms had just what you need. Best cabin I've ever stayed in, anywhere. I hope every cabin on my future treks is like this one.

We loved the food, especially the cream of mushroom soup. It was the best I've ever had, and I'm still dreaming about it. The bar is the most beautiful room I've ever seen, too. During our five-day tour through Jotenheimen, this was our favorite hut. It's quaint, with thoughtful, beautiful decor, and the couple who run it and their staff were so friendly and helpful. The stay was comfortable and lovely, all in the most beautiful scenery. Please stay here!

We arrived in August in our Camper Van and were pleasantly surprised to find such a cosy place to stop. It was quite chilly, and the Bar gave us a warm shelter with great views and service. Bartender Matt made us feel at home straight away and helped with everything we needed. Thank you, lovely Leirvassbu!

There was plenty of parking, and hiking equipment and guides were available. The setting is beautiful, close to the mountains and the glaciers up top. The cabin has rooms styled like Norwegian cabins, many with their own toilet and shower. At breakfast you can make sandwiches, wrap them in food paper, and take them along on a hike. Solbærtoddy is highly recommended.
