Luster and the Sognefjord were beautiful and so peaceful in early August. It’s a bit of a drive from Oslo, but well worth it for the vast, quiet fjords. The apartment was much nicer than its photos suggested, with a spacious kitchen, living area, and bedroom. The bed was comfortable, and the bedroom stayed quiet despite being right by the main road. They also have glamping tents beside the water. Put this place on your bucket list.

The bathrooms seemed newly renovated, and were modern and extremely clean. Our glamping tent was roomy but still cosy, with a lovely view that was a treat every time we looked out. There’s a fully equipped outdoor kitchen, a quaint little spot for breakfast. I only wish we’d arrived earlier the night before so we could have used one of the outdoor grills for dinner and enjoyed the view longer. My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay, and can’t wait to come back someday.

We had a comfortable, spacious room with the sitting area separate from the bedroom, and fantastic views around the property. The hosts were wonderfully friendly. Our only gripe was that there wasn’t anywhere nearby to get dinner.
