We just had a simple lunch in the café, and it was fine. I know their dinners are much better. The room was cosy and warm, with a fireplace, and the staff were super friendly. Prices were OK and the atmosphere was great. Top notch.

My partner got the reindeer stew, rich and creamy, and it looked beautifully presented. I went for the reindeer burger, which was juicy and full of flavor, with delicious homemade fries. The white wine worked really well with the meal. The place felt warm and cosy, and the girls working that evening were attentive, kind, and professional. A real gem in Northern Norway for authentic, comforting food and quality dining. Highly recommended.

The breakfast was good, but the stay was a mess. Check-in felt cold and awkward, and I was sent to a building under construction. There was scaffolding outside the front door with a sign directing me to the back entrance. The receptionist pointed out the building from the window but could have told me about the entrance. Around 8:15am, loud banging started on the roof and on the siding right beside my room, with metal clanging around and construction workers occasionally yelling to each other. I also couldn't open the curtains without giving the workers a clear, almost constant view into my room, even though they probably didn't care. I understand that construction has to happen, but sending hotel guests to stay in that building was careless. I don't know if I could have argued to cancel my pre-booking when I learned where I'd be staying, but I shouldn't have had to. Very poor hospitality.
