Røldalsterrassen

We had a lovely lunch on the way to Odda, eating burgers while watching the waterfalls and clouds around the mountains. The views deserve five stars. The burger gets four: the patty tasted great, but we wished it were bigger, since it was much smaller than the bun in the photo. Still a wonderful stop.

Great views, tasty food, and fair prices. Besides salad, daal is their only vegetarian or vegan dish. It's a generous portion and really tasty.

The mountain and waterfall views are lovely. The restaurant was very beautiful, and the food was good, though my fries came out a little cold.

The waiter was really nice, but I left very disappointed. The menu describes the “plate for sharing” as “Norwegian meat, fish and vegetables,” but what arrived had no fish or warm meat, just shrimp and ham or sausages. I'd expect that kind of thing among the starters, not as a main course. The people at the next table looked puzzled too after ordering it, so we weren't the only ones expecting something quite different. A pure tourist trap. One star only because there wasn't a zero option.
