Jostein was a wonderful host, and our room at Camillas Hus was spacious and warm, with an amazingly comfortable bed. Breakfast was 10/10. The location was excellent, with lots of local shops and stores nearby. My wife and I can’t recommend it highly enough. A perfect stay, thank you.

Mario’s warm welcome made the stay even better. He was so thoughtful and attentive, and the service was the best I’ve had. The beds were extremely cozy and the decorations extraordinary. It was even better than a five-star hotel for me. I’ll definitely stay again. The whole place is the best place to stay in Oslo for a unique experience.

The room came beautifully decorated, with fresh flowers and strawberries waiting when we arrived. Breakfast was included and good, and there was free parking in front of the hotel. The staff were as polite and friendly as could be. This is a hidden gem in the middle of Oslo. One drawback: room 7 has a freestanding bathtub but limited seating.

The whole place feels charming and intimate, helped along by the attentive, friendly team. I stayed in the Junior Suite at Camillas Hüs, a palatial room with lots of space, proper storage, a lovely bed and a huge bathroom with both a shower and tub. It was also very reasonably priced. I can’t imagine there’s a better option in Oslo. I loved it.

Breakfast at the nearby restaurant Park 29 was freshly prepared, delicious and filling. The location is very central, about a 10-minute walk through the park from National Theatre station. Our room was spacious, comfortable and full of character, with reliable WiFi and all the amenities we needed. There was lovely attention to detail, from fresh flowers to fruit. Mario was an amazing host who made us feel welcome. A huge thank you to Mario and the team for the hospitality. One of the best hotel stays we’ve had, and a hidden gem in Oslo.
