Quality Hotel Entry

Breakfast was great, with lots of choices. The staff were nice and approachable, though they forgot to clean our room while we were out. I'd asked for a room clean at check-in, but it was still the same when we returned that evening. Otherwise, we had a great stay. Our family room had a double bed and a sofa bed. The bed was comfortable with nice thick pillows, and the bathroom was spacious with a good shower. It could feel a little crowded for three people, but was manageable. The hotel is a little outside the city center, about 15mins by car. There were plenty of parking spaces, at 175kr per night, cheaper than the 300kr charged by other city hotels. Still, parking should have been free for hotel guests for at least 3 days.

Coming back here is always a pleasure, especially when Nicole is at the front desk. She’s so friendly, polite, and ready to help. This is a great hotel, and the staff are lovely. Nicole really is the best!

Breakfast was good, and for a one-night stay the hotel was okay, but I wouldn’t recommend it to friends or family. Our rooms hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly. We also paid far too much for the buffet: there weren’t even fries for the children, and there were no desserts. Parking cost 150 NOK, despite the hotel not being especially close to Oslo.

The hotel sits in a lovely wooded setting, and even though we were only there for one night on our Oslo visit, it was one of the best places we’ve stayed. Our room was modern and clean, with a great bed. The reception staff were very polite and helpful, and the gym had everything needed for a quick workout. We were in a rush and missed breakfast, so we’ll have to try it next time.
