Catogården

The little touches at Catogarden were such a nice surprise, especially the shoe dryer, popcorn machine, and all the indoor plants. The bedrooms are cute and spacious, and the shared kitchen, living room, and bathrooms make it easy to hang out and meet people. If you're driving an EV, there are regular chargers at the accommodation and six Tesla Superchargers right next door that charge insanely fast. Circle K is also nearby for quick bites like burgers and hotdogs, and Bringen bakery had the most delicious cinnamon buns. I absolutely loved staying here, and would happily do it again!

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the guests were quiet and respectful of each other's space. Our room was very comfortable, and the shared areas were clean and beautifully decorated. We really enjoyed this charming boutique hotel, an old building turned into a small, cosy place to stay. We also had a late morning sauna, which costs extra.

Runhild was incredibly friendly, and the prices were more than fair. I visited Catogarden for training and came away with an insider tip for anyone in the south of Lofoten looking for a gym or a quick workout. The equipment is stylish and well maintained, with what you need for strength and cardio. It's not a full commercial fitness centre, but it doesn't need to be, the atmosphere and setting make it special. The location feels almost magical. I'd recommend checking it out without hesitation.

The common area was a lovely place to relax, and we even joined the free yoga class. There was also a popcorn machine for making your own. Our room had two single beds and was quite small, but otherwise I can't complain. The showers and bathrooms were nice, and the facilities were great. It was one of our favourite places to stay on our Lofoten trip, conveniently close to the ferry and town centre, with an easy walk to the Reinbringen hike. It was handy to come back after the hike for the midnight sun. Highly recommend!
