I’m killing an hour before my bus, and they’ve made me feel welcome even though I’m just waiting and not a customer. Sitting here with a cup of tea in the lobby now. Really good service.

There’s a hairdresser here, plus solarium and massage services, and public transport stops right by the hotel. The food is excellent, and breakfast deserves to be the best in the area. It’s an excellent coastal hotel, and I recommend it.

The SkyBar has an amazing view. There’s plenty to do nearby, from sports and fishing to hiking, or trying beer at a local brewery. A very nice hotel, with a good restaurant serving local food and drinks.

So much choice at breakfast, I’ve never seen anything like it. The price is sensible, the atmosphere is nice, and the staff work hard to make guests happy. Friendly service with a smile, and the rooms are all good. What a great breakfast!

I went at the end of summer, so that’s the season I can speak to. The lounge has amazing views, and you can get them from the rooms too if you’re lucky. The food and service were excellent, and the hotel offers a curated menu of activities nearby. Even the trip to Sistranda is worth it on its own. Norway is expensive, as you’d expect, but Hotell Frøya’s prices seemed in line with other hotels in tourist areas. The modern exterior doesn’t match the traditional houses, though it fits with the other new buildings around it. That’s down to personal taste, and you don’t see the exterior from inside, which is quite well put together.
