Tråsåvika Camping

We got the one cabin with a view of the camping toilet instead of the fjord, out of all the cabins on the site. The receptionist wouldn't move us, saying there weren't any others available. Apart from that, our large cabin was very well equipped with everything we needed for a lovely stay, including a dishwasher. Linen wasn't included.

The beach was good and the staff were friendly. It's a decent campsite, though the kitchen is very poorly equipped. Showers cost 10kr to use.

We paid 370 NOK a night for a tent, electricity included, which felt quite high for a campsite of similar quality to others we'd visited. Showers cost extra, which isn't unusual, but having to pay for hot water to wash dishes was disappointing. There were quite a lot of people making noise until 2 at night, then starting again as early as 7 in the morning. The toilets were clean and the view of the Trondheim fjord was beautiful, and it was an okay stay overall. I wouldn't choose it for a quiet, relaxing campsite.

The surroundings were nice, and the place itself was nice too. Our cabin had a bathroom and kitchen. They were okay, though not super clean. It seemed some smokers had stayed there before us, since the couch and staff smelled of cigarettes. There were no hangers in the bathroom.
