We stayed at Lyngmo Hytten in June 2023 for one night during a cross-country road trip, and it was a lovely place to rest and recharge. Our little hut was right on the lakeshore, and we got exactly what we’d booked. It was quaint, with comfortable beds, fast internet, charging outlets, a fridge and some kitchen equipment. Bedding and towels cost extra. We arrived very late but got into the room without any trouble, and checkout was just as easy. The staff were friendly, and the amenities were very clean and comfortable to use. We definitely recommend it.

You can pitch a tent right by the lake, rent boats, and order freshly baked bread. The people were extremely hospitable, and everything was spotless. The modern building has everything from showers to a shared kitchen. It’s usually used for school camps outside the holiday seasons. One of the best places we’ve stayed, nothing more to wish for.

The lakeside setting is beautiful, and the staff were very friendly. Rooms are small, but reasonably priced. Breakfast was decent, and there’s a laundry room and shared kitchen. Urnes Stavechurch isn’t far away.

The view is magnificent, and the atmosphere is peaceful. It’s a lovely place to unwind after a long drive or hike, with cabins that are well equipped and just steps from the water. The facilities are very clean, and the welcome was pleasant and efficient. I highly recommend it.

We stayed with a campervan and paid around €50 per night. Wi-Fi and showers were included, and the showers were spotless and really good for a campsite. There’s a fully equipped kitchen you can use for free, plus a small gym next to it for activities when the weather is bad. Breakfast was 100 NOK, which is a really good price for the buffet. A solid, pleasant campsite for a stopover. 👌🏼
