We really enjoyed the two nights in a cosy cottage, and we’ll definitely come back. The host was caring and hospitable, helping us make the most of our stay, and showed us around the farm museum and blacksmithery. The farm itself is more than 200 years old, with farmhouses that have clearly been well preserved. It’s also excellently located, very close to national parks and wildlife.

The host was super kind and helpful. We stayed in one of the houses in a 300-year-old ethnographic complex, with several different buildings and a shared modern bathroom facility. It’s in a beautiful spot near Norway’s second-largest lake.

We were able to carry on with our trip thanks to the friendly, very helpful owner, who helped us fix a broken motorcycle clutch lever. I’m really thankful for that. It’s a beautiful old farm, a few hundred years old, with traditional houses near the lake.
