The staff were great and the location worked well, but the room was awful for the price. There was only soap even though free shampoo was promised, and the kitchen had no egg boiler as advertised. The shower barely worked, and its floor felt as if it might give way under me, even though I'm not heavy. Water spread across the bathroom, and the floor was still damp the next day. The room smelled moldy, there was dust under the beds, and someone else's hair was all over the bedding when we arrived. The beds were okay, just not as good as claimed, and the clothes hanger was broken. We stayed one night. I'd pay a little extra to stay somewhere else.

The beds were comfortable, and the hotel had the basics I needed for a cheap hiking trip: decent Wi-Fi, very hot showers, grocery stores within walking distance, and trailheads just a block away. I liked my stay, as long as you're not expecting luxury. The bathrooms are still a work in progress, the heating can run too hot, and the finishes are rustic. My headboard was a piece of particle board. If you just want a safe, clean place to wash up and sleep after hiking, this could suit you.

I was told I'd get a refund since we ended up not staying, but the money never came through. I've tried to contact them several times and nobody has answered. Customer service was completely absent. 🙃

The location is handy for Moskenes ferry port, about a five-minute drive, and parking near the building is free. The place could use some attention, though. The shower hose leaked, so only the overhead shower worked, and it took a while for the water to heat up. The TV was there but didn't work. The shared kitchen is sparse: a microwave, kettle, waffle toaster, a few utensils, and a sink.

Check-in is at Maren Anna restaurant nearby, since there's no reception at the inn. My stay at Sørvågen INN was very good: the room was clean, the Wi-Fi worked well, and there’s a small parking area right out front. The shared kitchen has basic equipment and tea. The bathrooms are quite dated and could use a renovation.
