I can’t comment on the rooms or service since we didn’t stay at the hotel, but the location gets five stars from me. It’s absolutely stunning, and there are enough EV chargers at a reasonable price. The climb to Pulpit Rock is moderate, but very steep in places, with lots of Sherpa Steps and uneven ground. Be warned.

After hiking for over 14 hours in the rain, we arrived after midnight and were so relieved to have a safe, cozy place to stay. The staff were lovely and helpful. One kind, enthusiastic woman did a lot for us with breakfast and traffic, and we’re very grateful to her. The hotel is in a charming valley near a lake, with a restaurant and bar just a few steps away. I hope the hotel accepts our heartfelt thanks. I’d recommend it to my friends next time.

A great spot for team-building events. My room had a really nice fjord view, and the food was very good. I was there alone, so the room size worked for me, but I think it’d be a bit small for two people.

We had a lovely time at both the lodge and the restaurant. The main lodge room was spacious and had a great view. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were delicious, and the staff were friendly and knew their stuff. Special thanks to the young, cute Swedish guy, who was really pleasant.

A really nice place in a great location, with a shop and a good restaurant. You can rent floating saunas, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards. There’s even axe throwing if you want to test your aim.
